Make first aid training a pleasure, not a pain.

Hi, I’m Esther Coles – the founder of Skylark First Aid.

If you usually find booking first aid courses a pain in the neck then you’re in for a surprise. Booking a training course with Skylark First Aid is quick, easy and painless as I take care of everything for you.

Think of me as another member of your team as I guide you through which course to do, how many people should be trained and provide tips on how to encourage people to sign up. As a small business owner, I can offer a personal touch so every course is tailored to your business, setting and requirements. There are no generic courses at set venues with Skylark!

My honestly priced training for small businesses, clubs and community groups across the Black Country, Worcestershire, Wyre Forest, Wolverhampton, Shropshire and the West Midlands is delivered by me or my small team of trusted trainers.

Skylark is a named First Aid Training Provider for the RFU (England Rugby). Please contact me for more details if you are enquiring on behalf of a Rugby Club.

I can provide first aid training at a time and place to suit you – even if it’s at the weekend!

By coming to your workplace I can:

  • Train your team in a familiar setting (so they won’t feel self-conscious)
  • Look at potential injuries and accidents that may occur (to make the training more realistic and relevant)
  • Split longer courses into bite-sized chunks (for your convenience)
  • Add topics to courses (to make them more valuable)
  • Accommodate small groups (to suit your team)

You can call on me at any time after your in-person course for follow-up support on anything first aid related.

Why choose Skylark First Aid.

about skylark first aid

As a female first aid trainer, I specialise in working with women-led businesses and delivering a female-friendly service. I make sure that everyone I train feels relaxed and supported and leaves feeling confident to put the lifesaving skills I teach them into practice. Being urged to take part in role-plays on your own in front of other people is awkward and embarrassing so I never ask people to do this.

I work with local businesses and organisations including hotels, sports clubs and hospitality venues. I deliver paediatric courses for nurseries and schools and I travel to rugby clubs throughout the Midlands delivering England Rugby’s first aid course to coaches, players and volunteers.

I’ve worked in sports, leisure, health and fitness, and managed a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programme for the NHS, so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.
